Cruise around downtown and Brickell Key, then maybe up the Miami River for lunch at Kiki’s or Sea Spice, or across Government Cut to see the mansions on the Biscayne Bay islands of Palm, Star, Hibiscus etc. Cruise over to Miami Beach, up Indian Creek, take a swim at the Picnic Islands or Luijo’s Key. Circumnavigate Miami Beach, check out the Haulover Sandbar, cruise the canals and the Bay. Stop at Lido or Joia Beach Clubs, or grab drinks at Schuckers! Finally, end your day as the sun starts setting on the greater Miami area as we run it back to the marina.

private charter in Biscayne bay

Private charter through “natures little secret”, beautiful Biscayne Bay. One of our favorite tours, exploring the sights and treasures located in the greater Biscayne Bay just south of Miami. Zoom across the bay in the morning next to the Rickenbacker Causeway, take an early dip off Playita beach then continue down the western shore of Key Biscyane past the Seaquarium and Crandon Park. Nixon Sandbar is the next hotspot, stop for a drink and dip. Then continue down to Cape Florida Lighthouse. If you are hungry, dip into No Name Harbor and grab lunch at Boater’s Grill. Just south of Cape Florida is historic Stiltsville, cruise through history as you check out the hippest place on the planet circa 1920-1940’s! Then cruise back up on the Atlantic side of Key Biscayne and head along Virginia Key’s coast to Fisher Island and take in the sights. Then cut through Norris Cut toward downtown Miami and enjoy the skyline as we head back toward the Marina. All our itineraries are fully customizable, so you can enjoy as many different locations (or as few) as you want.

private charter to Boca chita & ragged keys

Take a day trip (Full Day only) down to the beautiful Ragged Keys, Boca Chita, and Sands Key! The northernmost cays and keys of the FL Keys, they are only 7 miles south of Miami. We can check out Stiltsville first as we head south from Key Biscayne. Soldier Key is the first cay we will pass, with a sandy beach it might be worth a stop for a dip. The ragged keys are next, a group of 5 small cays, all but one uninhabited. Great little islands to explore, the cut between the islands create natural sandbars which are great spot to stop for a swim. Boca Chita is next and is the jewel of the Biscayne park. With a large harbor, campground, and a historic lighthouse, this is one of the most popular islands to visit in Biscayne Bay. There is also a sandy beach on the eastern point great for swimming and snorkeling. Two other keys lie just south, Sands and Elliott keys. The cut between the two, called Sands Cut, is a popular spot to anchor and explore the shallow waters. Elliott key has numerous sandy beaches as well, and a mangrove lagoon at the southern end where numerous other small islands form a mini delta off of Ceasars Creek. If you are looking for quiet beaches, snorkeling, and fun on the water, a trip to these keys is the answer. Best part, we will have you home before the rush hour!

private charter to key largo

Take a day trip (Full Day only) down to the Florida Keys! Key Largo is the largest and closest Key to Miami. about an hour and twenty mins of scenic views and you are in the middle of Key Largo. We can stop at Boca Chita or the Ragged Keys on the way down for a quick swim to cool off, then off to lunch on Key Largo. Choose from numerous options depending on your mood, from the low key Caribbean Club (made famous in the H Bogart movie “Key Largo”), to Gilbert’s Tiki Bar (largest Tiki Bar in the keys), or the upscale Sol by the Sea at Playa Largo resort, you can’t go wrong! After lunch head back up the chain making swim and snorkel stops along the way, or cut across to the Atlantic side to check out the underwater status of Christ of the Abyss. The itinerary is custom to your needs and our Captain’s will be happy to suggest cool stops along the way.

Sunset trip

Want to do something different? How about taking an afternoon boat trip as the sun begins to set over the Miami waterways, and watch the sunset from one of our favorite spots, then get dropped off for dinner at one of our favorite spots on the river for their great Sunset Happy Hour, Kiki’s on the River or Sea Spice. The boat will wait and take you back to your departure point after dinner! Or we can drop you and go, anything is possible with Midnight Sun Charters in Miami!
